Note: This is the initial Report. The complete Report will be furnished as soon we receive it.

The Initial Report:

I, Adv.Rabindra Ghosh, along with Ms. Biva Rani Biswas, an HRCBM activist on behalf of Human Rights Congress for Bangladesh Minorities (HRCBM), Dhaka rushed to the spot to-night at about 7 p.m. on hearing the news of illegal eviction,  talked with the victims, Supdt. of Police, officer-in-charge of Fatullah Police station took video statements of the witnesses for restoration of her possession and to compensate Ms. Kamala Rani for illegal dispossession and looting. A general Diary number 1521 dated 28.10.2003 has been filed by Ms. Kamala Rani Sarkar in Fatullah police station for proper justice. Ms. Kamala Rani was found too weak to move and she was carried to Fatullah Police station for lodging FIR. But police did not treat her allegation as FIR but treated it as General diary number 1521. As per version of the Police the properties in question were auction purchased by some people. And as per court’s order the eviction process was made on a particular plot of land. But the portion of land .07 decimals executed and registered in the name of Ms. Kamala Rani Saha vide deed number 5460 dated 30-07-1980 was not auction purchased by any body. Even Ms. Kamala Rani was not made party to any of the suit nor execution proceeding of the court. So the eviction of Ms. Kamala Rani is illegal, without jurisdiction.

Tomorrow I along with other HRCBM activists have decided to go to Narayanganj court to ascertain the executing order of the court. And as per our scrutiny a detailed report will be submitted soon.
