The News: Ms. Kamala Rani Sarkar (60) an widow, wife of late Gopal Sarkar of 41, D.N.Road, Nandipara, within Fatullah Police station, Dist. Narayanganj was evicted to-day ( 28th October, 2003) unlawfully with the unholy alliance of dishonest court and Bank officials and valuable belongings of the widow have been looted, houses vandalized, deity desecrated by some land grabbers namely 1) Ashraf Hossain son of late Gafur Meah, 2) Babu Meah 3) Selim Meah and many others at Narayanganj.

The Daily Dandy Barta (Staff Reporter): A serious report being filed against the criminals of Pikepara, Gualpara of Fatullah for their alleged involvement in forceful eviction of a minority family, brutality on women, ransack, loot and confiscation of the property belonging to Hindu family. The criminals are known as Babu, Salem and Ashraf gang.  

According to the report, The owner of the property Ms. Kamala Rani Sarkar (60), her daughter Ms. Dipali Rani Sarkar (37) alongwith others reported the incident to the local police station. The officer in charge of the local police station at Fatullah who had received bribery from the criminal Babu forcefully held the victims at the police station and intimated them.

Ms. Kamala Rani told this reporter that Babu, Salem and Ashraf have forged a paper to confiscate her property and then took the help of local police. They beaten them up, ransacked the house and evicted them from the property.
The police on the other hand apprehended and intimated them instead of the criminals. In this regards, Ms. Kamala and her family requested HRCBM's immediate intervention.
