Mir Maniruzzaman: The houses of two brothers, Porimondal (30) and Shunimondal (28), of Terchor village of Muladi Upazilla, Barishal, were ransacked and looted by the local BNP cadres. They brutally assaulted these two brothers, abducted their wives and gang raped them. Despite the incident took place in February 18, the victims can not case a file in police station due to the threats from the terrorists. Investigation reveals that the terrorists, subservient to local BNP leader Altaf Master, attacked Porimondal and Shunimondal's home at night. First, they beat the brothers after fastening them tightly. They also hit their old mother when she begged for the lives of her sons. The terrorists robed five thousand taka in cash and gold ornaments.

Finally, they took the two wives with them while leaving the ransacked home. These two wives were then gang raped in a nearby field (Paner Boroj).
