📢 HRCBM Held Press Conference in #Dhaka #Bangladeshh On December 5, 2024, at the CRAB Auditorium in Dhaka, HRCBM held a significant press conference to address the escalating violence and systematic oppression of #minorities in #Bangladesh.Advocate Lucky Bacchar, Convenor of HRCBM’s Bangladesh National Chapter, along with other leaders, presented compelling evidence of arbitrary arrests, fabricated cases, and attacks on peaceful protesters. Victims of these atrocities were also brought forward to share their personal ordeals, shedding light on the human cost of such persecution.Notable cases, including the arbitrary detention of Chinmoy Krishna Brahmachari and the extrajudicial killing of Hriday Ravi Das, were highlighted as examples of the systemic injustices faced by minorities.HRCBM emphasized the urgent need for a Transitional Justice Mechanism to address decades of atrocities against minorities.
